Exporting Videos

When your video looks right in the preview, hit Export. You've got three ways to get your final file — pick the one that fits your workflow.
Cloud Export
Cloud export renders your video on our servers at Full HD quality. It's the highest quality option and doesn't slow down your machine. A 30-second video takes roughly 1–2 minutes to render.
Cloud exports use hook credits — approximately 20 hooks per minuteof output video. Once the render is done, you'll see a download button in the editor and on your project card.
On-Device Export
On-device export renders the video directly in your browser using WebCodecs. It's available on all plans — including Free — and doesn't use any hook credits. The trade-off is that it's slower (your computer is doing the work) and the output quality depends on your browser.
On the Free plan, on-device exports include a Hookable watermark in the corner. Upgrading to any paid plan removes the watermark.
SRT Export
Need subtitles for another platform? Export an SRT file — a standard subtitle format that works with YouTube, TikTok, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and basically every other video editor out there.
The SRT is generated from your transcription and reflects any edits you made to the caption words in the editor. No hook credits needed.
